Our return to the English Top Flight will see us face many challenges, but it will aslo see us face off against a few familiar faces, so we had a look at some of those who we will welcome back to the Stadium Of Light with opening arms. 
 
We've brought in a bunch of lads from all over the globe, so we had a look at how to pronounce all their names. 
 
Pre-season was a busy one for us, filled with signings and plenty of football played. The lads flew off to Portugal, and even had 2 games in 24 hours, with one game played in Germany, and the other played in Sunderland only a day later. Ben discussed Portugal, and documented his 24 hours mad dash around Europe to attend the game in Germany and Sunderland. 
 
Whilst the final few weeks was like a fever dream for most of us, Anne Clough wrote a beautiful piece describing how her family had to handle the passing of a lifelong Sunderland fan and family member whilst watching the lads achieve promotion. 
 
But that's not all, we looked back on some key moments during our PL hiatus, some of which that had they not happened might have meant we aren't where are now. We've got new grounds to go to for the first time, a new ale has been brought out celebrating our gaffer and much much more!
