Tuesday night is one of the biggest in the recent history of the football club, and with the Lads doing their bit on Friday, we’re urging our fellow supporters to help out with some other bits and pieces on Tuesday night at the Stadium of Light that will help to create the best possible atmosphere for the Sunderland players to thrive.

LINE THE BUS ROUTE: Starting from the main entrance of the Stadium of Light and working back towards Wessington Way via the road that runs alongside the North Stand, we’re asking fans to turn up with their colours, scarves, and flags to welcome our players as they arrive via coach (expected between 6:00pm and 6:15pm) to really make this feel like a big occasion and so that they really feel our support from the moment they arrive.

BUILD THE ATMOSPHERE: As the players from both sides emerge from the tunnel for the warm-ups around 7:00pm, we’re asking fans to get into the ground early and make themselves seen and heard - just like at Wembley in 2022 before the Wycombe game, when the players told us it made a huge difference.

TURN UP THE VOLUME: With this being the biggest crowd of the season, queues at the turnstiles are expected, so make sure you get to your seats early and help to build the atmosphere. If you can get into the ground and in your seats by 7:30pm, sing, chant, and cheer - let’s make sure Coventry feel the full weight of the intimidating atmosphere we can create together!

When the players emerge for kick-off, bring everything - BRING YOUR SCARVES, BRING YOUR COLOURS, BRING YOUR FLAGS, and, most importantly, BRING THE NOISE!
