THE FINAL PUSH

For Sunderland supporters, this season has been the dream return to life in the Premier League. Surviving relegation was the number one aim, and we cleared that hurdle by early March. Plus we’ve beaten THEM home and away… but why stop here? European football is within touching distance and the fans can make the difference once again.
Our excellent unbeaten home record, the longest in the Premier League, shows how the Stadium of Light’s atmosphere can directly impact results because this group of players thrive off the crowd. Whether that be West Ham on the opening day, the derby in December, big games against Manchester City and Arsenal, even going back to Coventry in the play-offs, this is a team who put in their best performances when the supporters are right behind them.
Everton away seemed to be a turning point where a European pipe dream suddenly became realistic as we find ourselves in a brilliant position heading into the final day of the season. Forget the results around us - if we do our job on Sunday then the cards around us will fall into place.
2025/26 has been a season defined by key moments for Sunderland. Once again, we’re calling for every Sunderland supporter to play their part to create another moment to last a lifetime. Get to the ground early, line the streets for the Lads, greet the team off the bus. Enzo Le Fee described this match as our cup final, so let’s treat it like one. Skip that last pint before kickoff so that you’re in your seat to build the pre-match atmosphere and, ultimately, sing your hearts out for the Lads.
