SUPPORTER COLLECTIVE MEETING

Sunderland recently had a Supporter Collective Meeting, here are some of the most important bits of information:

First of all, the club's turnover has balooned from around £44 million whilst in the Championship to over £200 million. A working group for premium season ticket holders is to be established and a memberhsip scheme will be launched during the summer. Away fans will continue to be located in the same area of the ground for next season, with arrests and ejections of them down 20% and racial abuse reports down 50%.

The Premier League Matchday Fan Experience survey gave Sunderland a score of 80.3, compared to the average of 67.0, and we have the highest rating for matchday atmosphere in the league. Non-segregated matches are being considered next season and stewards will be travelling on LNER trains to some away matches, following a successful trial.

The club believe that a potential stadium expansion, which is being considered, could cost £250 million. They're also facing pressure to conduct searches of all home fans and once again reading out the opposition starting XI before kick off is being considered.
