Sunderland became the last team to lose at home this season in the Premier League, at the hands of reigning champions Liverpool. A narrow 1-0 defeat brought our unbeaten run at the Stadium of Light to an end, which stretched back to a 1-1 draw with Coventry City in the play-offs back in May of last year. Sunderland lost 3-0 to league-leaders Arsenal away from home. The hosts were 1-0 up at the break and scored another two before the conclusion. Despite the scoreline, it wasn’t a performance you can be too angry about. ROBIN ROEFS: 6.5/10 Made two saves and there was definitely nothing he could have done about at least two of the goals. Not sure about the second one, as I haven’t seen a replay but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Commanded his box well and his distribution was good....
