SADIKI HAPPY WITH DRAW

Noah Sadiki praised Sunderland's 10-man performance against Aston Villa but says the team need to kick on from here and build on their impressive start to life in the Premier League.

MASSIVE POINT

“It’s a big, big point for us at home as well with the crowd behind us. We were down a player, but we showed great mentality and we never gave up. We have a strong mentality and even with 10 men we wanted to press, even though it was tough at times."

ISIDOR SCORES AGAIN

“We believe in ourselves and we believe in each other. I’m really pleased for Wilson. There is good competition for places, and he is the man in form.”

KEEP PUSHING

“We need to keep going – it’s only the start of the season and we know we can do even better. The supporters were with us and pushing us all the way, and I’m sure they will continue to do so this season.”
