RLB TALKS TACTICS

Regis Le Bris says that even though two up front has been effective in recent weeks, he still would prefer to start games in a 4-3-3 and make tweaks based on how each game is going. He also spoke about how Enzo Le Fee will be moved centrally when our natural wingers are fully fit, and that's where we'll see the best of the Roma loanee.

DIFFERENT OPTIONS

“We started with a 4-4-2 in zonal defence and a 4-3-3 in possession against a mid-block (in the Plymouth game), and this is our main option. Sometimes, we do need something else, because of injuries for example, or because of the scenario of the game and because the opposition requires something else. So, we can use two strikers then."

4-3-3 SUITS THE SQUAD

“But I think for our identity, for the control of the game and the results of the games so far, our main option is a 4-3-3. This is still the case. We have built the squad for this system, and when Alan (Browne) is fit, we will have six strong central midfielders.”

LE FEE

“I spoke with Enzo on Friday morning, and he said it is very tough to play one-on-one all the time. This is not his main strength. This position is really specific, you have to have a specific personality and physical qualities I think, to go one-against-one over and over again. It's not easy to find that kind of player, but we have it with Romaine and Tommy.”

BETTER CENTRALLY

"Probably in the middle [his best position], as a six, eight or 10. Probably 10 because he's more connected with the high pressure and because of his body composition."
