RLB PRAISES JOBE

Whilst Jobe Bellingham serves his three match ban for his red card against QPR last Saturday, he will be taking on his first call up for the England U21 side which will hopefully see him gain some minutes before he is eligible to play for us again. With this news, Regis has taken the moment to share his thoughts on the young midfielder.

JOBE'S U21 CALL UP

"We'll see, I don't know the plan of the coach (Ben Futcher), should be interesting for us if he can have some minutes, he deserves to have this reward as well because he has played very well so far and it should be a good experience for him."

Le Bris also discussed Jobe's performances this season which lead him to shower the youngster in compliments whilst describing all his key abilities that has helped him thrive in a new role for the lads.

CONSISTENCY

"He is very young, but he has showed consistency, we tried to find a stable position for him and the repetition of experiences game after game was useful to stabilise his role, but to find a specific role, I think he has improved many things in his game. He still has a huge potential to discover but so far it is very interesting for him."

NEW ROLE

"He played once as a six at Portsmouth I think, then he played as an eight and two positions out of possession in the two sixes, earlier in the season, out of possession in the two attackers but always in possession as an eight, and I think it is a good place for him because he can run in behind, he can play the triangle, he can shoot, he can score, he can defend, he can press, he can do many things. He's a complete player with a huge potential to discover because I know the consistency and probably the way he can affect the game more is always a key for him and he wants to improve every day, his standards are very high and sometimes his emotions are high as well but he has managed very well so far."

He also revealed that after Jobe watched the Preston game from the stands he came back with some coaching insight which the was appreciated, showing how wise beyond his years Jobe really is.

AT THE GAME VS PNE

"The connection of the fans is very important for us, he is aware of that. In the stands he probably felt something different from a new perspective which could be useful for the future. He told us this morning he didn't think the structure wasn't so good so it was a good perspective for him, a new perspective probably as a coach we'll see in the future."

REACTION TO JOBE'S COMMENTS

"Good, I want the biggest future as possible for them, because if they have a good future they can assess the game, on the pitch it's easier to understand the problems, and to react, to solve the problems in real time so they need that structure for the future."
