WEMBLEY EXPRESS FAQs

Sunderland have progressed to the Championship Play-Off Final. ALS are running express coach travel to Wembley, once again. Here are some FAQs...

WHAT TIME ARE THE COACHES LEAVING AND HOW MUCH ARE THEY?

Our Wembley Express Executive Coaches are £75 return and run direct from the Stadium of Light to Wembley Stadium, on the day of the final, which is on Saturday, May 24th. Kickoff time is not yet confirmed. Departure details and times will be confirmed as soon as we know what time the match will kick off.

PICK UP POINTS?

Unlike games played in the regular season, we will not have any other en route pickup points. The coach will be going straight from the SOL to Wembley Stadium, with comfort breaks, but no pickups. This is to ensure a swift and efficient route to Wembley with as few complications as possible.

DO I GET A TIME SLOT?

No time slots. We will have staggered departures between certain time windows, depending on kickoff time. The faster the buses are filled, the faster you’ll get to Wembley. If you want to get to Wembley early, get to the SOL early. If you are not in such a rush come down later!

CAN I RESERVE A SEAT

Due to the size of this operation, we are unable to reserve seats. Just show up with whoever you wish to travel with, and there will be space for you to sit together.

ARE ALS DOING HOTEL PACKAGES, OR BUSES LEAVING THE DAY BEFORE?

No, all of our buses are leaving on Saturday morning and returning after full time.

WHAT TIME WILL WE LEAVE WEMBLEY?

You’ll have enough time to hopefully celebrate promotion and see the lads lift the trophy. But after that please make your way back to the bus as quickly as possible, so we can all get home.

WHEN WILL WE GET BACK?

Our coaches will depart ASAP after the final whistle. It is impossible to predict our return time due to so many factors including: traffic, weather, extra time, penalties, trophy lift, etc.

WHERE CAN I PARK AT THE SOL?

Car parking in the SoL car park is free and will be available on the day, subject to availability. Bear in mind how busy it will be and arrive early enough to secure your space.

CAN I LEAVE MY BAGS ON THE COACH?

Yes, you can leave your bags on the coach at your own risk. You'll be getting on the same coach going back so make a note of which coach you're on. Best practice is to take a picture of the number plate upon arrival and which coach park you are in.

HOW MUCH ARE RETURN TICKETS?

Return coach travel is £75 per person. No Booze. No Dickheads. No Mags. No Refunds. If you book online or over the phone, your tickets must be picked up before the day of travel in order to make loading more efficient and stress-free for staff and customers alike. We charge a flat price per seat. Unfortunately we are unable to offer discounts for pensioners and children.

ALS OPENING HOURS?

During this period, we have extended our opening hours. We will be open seven days a week until the final, from 8am until 6pm in store and 24/7 online.

CAN TICKETS BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY OF TRAVEL?

Coach tickets cannot be collected on the day of travel. If you have not collected your ticket in advance, you will not be able to board the ALS bus.

DO YOU POST OUT TICKETS?

We do not post out tickets.
