Regis Le Bris has quashed rumours of a Nordi Mukiele injury ahead of the team's trip to Old Trafford, confirming that there are no fresh injury concerns in the squad.
INJURY LATEST
“Nordi is fine, he’s OK. We have no new injuries. With Romaine and Dennis, there is no definite date for their return to play. We think it will probably be a month, maybe a month and a half. With Leo and Aji it is similar. Leo is back running, with Aji there was a very small injury so he took a little step back. Probably one month for each.”
GOOD TIME TO PLAY THEM?
“I don’t know, we will see at the end of the game. Playing at Old Trafford demands strong personality and character so I still believe that we need to upgrade our performance to be competitive in Manchester. They are strong and can create many chances from everywhere - direct play, through in behind, set plays, with talented players. We don’t need to explain their qualities, now it is just a question of it clicking, confidence, circumstances, scenarios. We don’t know, so for us the only thing we can control is our way of playing, the way we want to face this challenge, being aware that it will be tough.”
THEIR START
“I don’t know exactly because my focus is only on us. Every weekend we will obviously analyse our opponent, it will be just a short focus and we try to find the right way to manage their strengths and how they can create danger. We will try to find solutions to get opportunities and win the game. After that, I don’t have a specific opinion on the club. I think it is a huge club with a big history, they have strong players so they are hard to beat.”
CAUSE THEM PROBLEMS
“Yes, absolutely. I think even against a squad with strong momentum, like Crystal Palace, we tried. Every game is an opportunity. We don’t know before what will be the scenario, football is still unpredictable and one decision made can change the whole dynamic. Knowing that, we try our best to get points. Simple as that.”
NO FEAR
“It is not our approach. I think we want to express our ideas, our football, our identity as a unit and as a club, and after that you have a game. If the opponent is stronger than us then we will respect that, but we will be without any regrets at the end. That is our way of playing.”
