Over the weekend a few things came about that you might have missed, so here they are.
CIRKIN STILL CONCUSSED
Dennis Cirkin was missing from the squad during the defeat to Coventry on Saturday. After the game Tony Mowbray confirmed this was because he still had symptoms of a concussion that he received in the Millwall game.
Here’s what the boss had to say:
"He's been feeling dazed and a bit dizzy, so he's been sent for a scan. There was no way he could have come with us, we felt it was an aftermath of what happened at Millwall. He didn't feel right in the game at Rotherham so he went for a scan. I haven't seen the results yet but hopefully he's fine."
ENGLAND CALL UP FOR PATTO?
We mentioned last month that Patto was expected to be called up to the U-21 European Championships and he still is, but rumours are circulating that Gareth Southgate has had his eye on Anthony, and could call him up for the next set Euro 2024 qualifiers.
