Everyone has been waiting for more clarity on the Mowbray situation and during that time it looks like the Lads have secured their first signing for the summer.
JOBE BELLINGHAM TO SIGN
According to Fabrizio Romano, a reporter who is usually spot on with his reports has reported that we are set to sign Jude Bellingham’s younger brother Jobe, who actually made his debut against us earlier this season.
The deal has been signed and we have agreed a £3m deal with Birmingham City. Jobe will travel to Wearside in the next 10 days to complete his medical before officially joining. With the price tag being similar to that of Michut’s if we were to sign him many think that this signing could mean that we won’t go for Michut anymore, but only time will tell.
FIRST PRE-SEASON FIXTURES ANNOUNCED
Our first pre-season fixtures have been announced today. There will be a North-East double header before the lads jet off to America. On the 8th of July we will travel to Julio Arca’s recently promoted South Shields at 12:30pm, followed by a trip to Gateshead on the same day at 4pm.
