STEWART POST LINCOLN

Ross Stewart spoke to the media after Sunderland's drubbing at the hands of Lincoln, as the lads look to bounce back against Accrington...

DISAPPOINTING

"An all-round disappointing night to concede three goals and not play to the standard we know we can, in front of the home fans. Bitterly disappointed."

FRUSTRATING

"We had come into the game on really good form, we'd prepared as we do most games. Confidence was really high but for whatever reason, just couldn't take it out onto the pitch. Huffed and puffed a lot but never really created the amount of chances that we wanted. To be fair to Lincoln, they punished us."

POOR GOAL

"Yeah they could have (been different). Pritch did really well to win the penalty and five or ten minutes after we got the goal we looked in the ascendency, and then again I think we get stung with a really poor goal from our point of view on the counter. Once they got the third it kind of kills the game off and takes it out of our reach. We've just got to dust ourselves down and there's another game on Saturday and we've got to prepare ready in time for that."

ACCY

"It's another game, going to be a tough game away from home. We know what we've got in that dressing room. We'll be looking to bounce back, and we'll also look at this (defeat) tomorrow and look at how we can improve, and come Saturday we'll be ready to go."
