STEWART AT THE DOUBLE

Ross Stewart spoke to the press after scoring a brace in Sunderland's comfortable 5-1 win over Cambridge...

PERFORMANCE

"A really good performance. There was only three left before today so we knew what was at stake, being at home. I thought the lads were excellent and put in a really good performance. Scored five really good goals and probably unlucky not to have a couple more. To chip in with a couple personally is really good."

END THE DROUGHT

"To get amongst the goals as a striker is what you want. I've been as frustrated as anyone with not doing that, but the important thing is we've been winning games and we're still up there. To continue that today, and add a few myself, it's been a really good day."

BROADHEAD

"I think we compliment each other really well. Broady's scored a good number of goals himself, and we're good mates off the pitch. I think that shows, with the linkup and getting into good areas and causing defenders trouble. Both of us are doing well and hopefully that will continue."

ROTHERHAM

"We've got two cup finals left to get into the play-offs. We want to win both games and that won't change. Looking forward to Tuesday now. It's going to be a tough one against Rotherham, but certainly one we want to win."

FANS

"They've been massive for us all year. The noise they made today was incredible, and we're going to need them on Tuesday. Hopefully they continue in their numbers and we can send them home happy with a win."
