So, the last two Saturday afternoons and nights have been enjoyable, seven goals, plenty of attacking intent and a team playing with the self-belief winning creates.
Phil Parkinson deserves a huge amount of credit and his back-room staff, it cannot be easy to read and listen to the vitriol that swirls around and not get down hearted.
The players also deserve a huge pat on the back, they have applied themselves to the task in hand and as a supporter I can ask no more.
The fitness levels look greater, with that comes greater concentration and less individual errors.
I am not getting carried away, it can turn just as quick, but the signs are good.
Hard work, endeavour, allied with some moments of skill and a touch of luck are ingredients for success.
Keep up the good work and build on from where we are.
