PLAYER RATINGS V WYCOMBE

Late drama meant that Sunderland thought they'd scored a winner, only for Wycombe to equalise in the dying seconds. Here's how the lads rated out of ten...

ANTHONY PATTERSON 7/10: Made a couple of good saves, particularly in the first half on his return to the side. Put his body on the line later on to clear the danger, which unfortunately led to Corry Evans' injury. Arguably could have been stronger for Wycombe's second goal, although it looked like a clear foul.

CARL WINCHESTER 7/10: Busy defensively but coped well and managed to push forward, testing Stockdale twice in the second half.

TOM FLANAGAN 6/10: A real mixed bag for Flanagan today. Made some crucial blocks, but let himself down with a handful of shaky moments. Unfortunate to have been struck by Mehmeti's shot, which found its way into the back of the net.

CALLUM DOYLE 7/10: Dealt with Wycombe's physicality well, and good on the ball when we needed to keep possession.

DENNIS CIRKIN 7/10: Put a great ball in for the opener, right on Stewart's head. Solid defending when called upon.

CORRY EVANS 8/10: Battled well in midfield with some last-ditch defending at times. Hopefully his injury as serious as it first seemed, as he had a huge influence in midfield.

DAN NEIL 7/10: Another mature performance from Neil against the likes of Scowen, who was chasing shadows in the second half! Neil kept hold of the ball, and did well to release Gooch late on for our third goal.

LYNDEN GOOCH 7/10: An industrious performance from Gooch, and set up Stewart on the counter-attack for what seemed like a late winner.

ALEX PRITCHARD 9/10: Too good for this league. We say it every week, but Pritchard was the creative force in every attack. Could have had two brilliant assists on another day, if it wasn't for poor touches from his teammates.

ELLIOT EMBLETON 7/10: Helped keep the pressure on Wycombe in the second half after struggling early on, but really came into his own in the latter stages of the game. Came extremely close with a long-range effort that struck the bar, and produced a great bit of quality to set up Sunderland's second goal.

ROSS STEWART 9/10: So unlucky to not have a hat trick, with the first going down as Stockdale's own goal. Held the ball up well in a tough game, and thought he had the winner with an injury time goal...
