The highly reputable Fabrizio Romano has reported that we opened talks with the French Champions PSG for Édouard Michut. He is apparently our ‘dream’ signing in midfield. Personally I’ve never heard of the 19 year old but after a quick google according to Wikipedia his middle name is Makam so it’s a match made in heaven really.

I think I speak for all of us when I say I can’t wait for this story to be over, it feels like one of the longest transfer sagas of all time. The latest update is that he is doing his medical today, having landed in the country yesterday. As long as there are no surprises on the medical he could be announced as soon as today, as he has already agreed a deal with us, he just needs the medical before anything gets signed.
