SLOPPY MOMENTS
“I think in spells we played quite well in terms of on the ball and manipulating it up the pitch, especially in the first half. Far too many sloppy moments from the team as a whole, I couldn’t keep count of how many times we passed the ball off the pitch. They’re big things we need to sort out because it just comes down to sloppiness. To come here, go 1-0 up, put in a good first-half performance, I think their first goal was a lot of luck because it’s just come off Pierre’s toe and fell through, other than that I thought it was a pretty good first half from the lads. Second half I think we kind of just rested on our laurels for some reason, didn’t go after the game and sat back, which we need to watch back and evaluate.”
PLAY-OFF AIMS
“There’s 19 games left in the league now, hopefully for us 22, but we need to use the time between now and the last game of the season to put in the work on the training pitch - everybody as individuals and as a team - to make as big of an impact, whether that’s the starting lineup or subs coming on, we all need to be together as one team. There’s still a lot of games left and if we all do that and we all get our heads screwed on, I’m sure we’ll come to places like this later in the season and pick up wins.”

“I think that’s the frustrating part. Playing in the game, there was no gulf in quality. If anything we’ve got better quality and we just didn’t show it at all times tonight. We showed it in glimpses when going through the thirds with the ball, especially in the first half. But it’s just frustrating when you come to places like this, go 1-0 up and you come away with nothing.”
ONTO HULL
“Hull are a good team and they’re in and around us, so it’s a game that we need to try and pick up three points. We had a really good performance down at their place, I’m sure it won’t be the same game coming back to our place but we’ve got to use this week to recover and prepare as well as we can leading into that game.”
