Alex Neil praised his sides first leg performance, but was disappointed the lads couldn't score more goals. He's now focusing on the second half of the tie come Monday...
DOMINANT
"I thought we were really good and controlled the vast majority of the game. The last ten minutes were a little bit hairy but before that, I thought we controlled the ball in the first half and created some good opportunities. But in particular between half time and around 70 minutes, I thought we really should have put the game to bed. We had three or four really good chances, even the last one I think Ross goes through with Embo just outside him and shoots past the post. The most frustrating thing from our point of view is the fact we didn't add to the scoreline."
STEWART
"Obviously he chases things up and down. The ball's put down the space and we spoke about Ross trying to get in behind. The defender hasn't played much recently, he might be hesitating a little bit. Ross took advantage of it and he stuck it away. I thought it was no more than we deserved. We controlled proceedings up to that point and moved the ball well."
STRATEGY
"Going into the game, we went for strategy v strategy against Sheffield Wednesday rather than matching them up. I think most people would have been surprised we went for a back four. But at the moment we need to do what we need to do to try and win the game. Against teams like Sheffield Wednesday what you can't do is be cagey. You need to be really offensive, you need to scare them and play up against them in their half."
HALF TIME
"They should take huge confidence. We understand it's going to be a tough match away from home, and the only disappointment from tonight is we didn't score another goal- which we probably deserved on the balance of play. But as far as we're concerned it's half time. We've got our noses in front, and we need to rest up and get ready for the next one."

"It was brilliant. That's what you're in football for, and the players will say that as well. Honestly I really enjoyed it tonight and I thought the fans were an absolute credit to the club. So fair play to them, and let's try and get the next one."
