RON-THORBEN HOFFMANN 7/10: A spectator for most of the game as Sunderland saw a lot of the ball and restricted Morecambe entirely.
BAILEY WRIGHT 8/10: Looked really comfortable again on the right and seems to have a new lease of life in this new system.
TOM FLANAGAN 8/10: Like Wright, Flanagan was dependable defensively and won every tackle. Some great distribution at times to set us off on attacks.
CALLUM DOYLE 8/10: Didn’t allow Stockton a sniff of goal and kept his concentration throughout.
LEON DAJAKU 7/10: Electric dribbling at times, getting into some excellent positions. However, his final ball often let him down.
CARL WINCHESTER 8/10: Worked himself into the ground and provided an excellent defensive base for our attackers to push forward.
DAN NEIL 8/10: Kept things ticking over in midfield and earns an extra mark for that fantastic turn to create Pritchard’s goal.
LYNDEN GOOCH 9/10: Unplayable in the first half, a totally different performance from the Oxford game. The winger set up our first two goals with some great dribbling out wide. Influence waned as the game went on, but the damage was already done.
ALEX PRITCHARD 7/10: Probably our least influential attacker on the night, but still showed some tidy touches and popped up with a goal himself.
ROSS STEWART 8/10): Back to his best today, pressing the defence and never giving up on loose balls. A great ability to draw fouls and create space for Broadhead.
NATHAN BROADHEAD 9/10: Linked up brilliantly with Gooch coming off the left and scored two good goals. His pace caused Morecambe problems all night.

ELLIOT EMBLETON 6/10: Added an extra dynamic as we saw the game out.
AIDEN O’BRIEN 6/10: Energetic as always from O’Brien and was involved in our fifth and final goal.
BENJI KIMPIOKA 6/10: Nice to see Benji back in the first team, nearly grabbing a goal in the final minute after pressing the keeper!
