Grant Leadbitter hasn’t given up hope that the players can cancel out the 2-0 deficit against Lincoln City on Saturday, but he knows that a massive improvement in performance will be required…
MUST DO BETTER
“It’s all to play for. We’re back training to prepare for Saturday – we need to rest and train well. If you’re asking me if I’m confident we’ll win the game on Saturday, yes, I’m certainly confident. By how many goals, I don’t know – but I’m confident we’ll win the game. We can’t go out gung-ho, chasing the game. It’s 90 minutes long, and it doesn’t take long to score goals in ties. A goal for us would change the tie and we’ll be looking to play well for 90 minutes – if we perform, we can win it.”
FANS ARE BACK
“We’re absolutely looking forward to having the fans back. Lincoln created a good atmosphere [on Wednesday], but I think some of them maybe think they’ve won the tie already. We’re honest and open, we have to win – it’s last-chance saloon. We’ll take our time and look to take our moments in the game.”
