Tony Mowbray reckons that the creative players in the team have done brilliantly to be the fourth top scorers in the league in the absence of Ross Stewart… GOALS GOALS GOALS "I think because of the nature of the way our injuries have piled up, and they've all been long term injuries in crucial areas of the pitch. So, it's been a very frustrating period for us, we have talked about losing Ross Stewart earlier in the season, and yet we've found ways to score goals. We are the fourth top scorers in the league, so scoring hasn't really been a big problem for us. We are sitting here now, knowing that we're coming up against a physical, strong, and direct team. They are very well connected and work extremely hard for each other. We don't really have any central defenders, so I hope the adversity is gelling us together. It's not ideal to be playing against physical and direct teams. I think the team are enjoying that we can try and find a way to get results. Last home game we lost two goals from direct headers. The individuals that we've got at the top end of the pitch have got a remit to express themselves, get on the ball, and make things happen. They are doing just that, the weekend optimised that with Diallo, Clarke, and Pritchard all scoring individual goals."
