Due to the coronation of King Charles III being planned for the 6th of May which was originally the final day of the season our last game of the 22/23 campaign which is against Preston has been rescheduled.
The Championship isn’t the only league facing the rescheduling. The current dates for the EFL are set as:
Sky Bet League One – Sunday 7 May 2023, kick-off 12noon
Sky Bet League Two – Monday 8 May 2023, kick-off 12:30pm (Bank Holiday)
Sky Bet Championship – Monday 8 May 2023, kick-off 3pm (Bank Holiday)
So we now head down to Preston North End on Monday 8th May, which as stated above is a bank holiday and it will kick off at 3pm.
