Alex Neil said recently that he wanted to make four or five more signings before the end of the transfer window and he has made one signing for the backroom staff. Meanwhile clubs are making it as difficult as they can for us to sign any players.
BROADHEAD CONTRACT SITUATION
In frustrating circumstances the Nathan Broadhead situation has taken another turn. Everton have proposed a new contract to Broady which means a permanent transfer for him seems impossible without forking out buckets of cash. By the looks of it we are still interested in a loan so we’ll be doing Everton a favour by hiking up Nathan's value, but as long as he can help us this season I’m sure we’ll all be happy, permanent transfer or not.
NEIL BOLSTERS STAFF
Alex Neil has made some more backroom signings to help the team prepare week in week out. The newest addition to his coaching staff is Alessandro Barcherini from Leeds. He worked under Marco Bielsa and most recently Jesse Marsch but he has decided to join us as our Head Of Goalkeeping. It’s not as exciting as a player signing but it is still good news as it helps us with preparations, as the old adage goes: Failure to prepare is preparing to fail.
