KLD and Sartori were spotted in Uruguay recently, meeting with some top sides, meanwhile back on Wearside Mowbray will have to crack down on the discipline shown in games if we want to see less suspensions.
SUSPENSIONS
Corry Evans will miss Saturday’s game as we host Wigan after accumulating five yellow cards and receiving a suspension. One thing to note is that Jack Clarke and Luke O’Nien are both on four yellow cards each, one more and they will miss the next match so they need to be careful.
U21 LADS MATCH MOVED
Later today the young Lads face off against Leeds in a game that was supposed to be played at Appleton up until earlier today. The game has now been moved to be played at the Stadium Of Light tonight, season ticket holders can attend for free with their season tickets so if you’ve got no plans why not go cheer our young Lads on.
KLD & SARTORI ON TOUR
Kyril Louis-Dreyfus and Juan Sartori have been on a trip to Uruguay recently where they have met up with officials of several Uruguayan clubs. Sartori has previously stated that he would like to have an affiliation with a Uruguayan side. This could be laying the foundations for that, or it could be part of a scouting mission for some young talents as head of recruitment Stuart Harvey was also with them. So far they have met with C.A Cerro, Club Atlético Peñarol and Nacional as well as the Uruguayan FA.
