Jack Clarke opened the scoring today against Fulham, in what was a game that could have saw many more goals, but Jack thinks a draw was a fair result.
FAIR RESULT
“I think we did really well to be honest, obviously we probably weren't expected to do as well as we did, got the early goal, created a lot of chances throughout the game. They have a lot of quality and they created a lot of chances also so I think a draw was probably a fair result in the end but we’re really happy with how we played and hopefully we can take that into the replay.”
GOAL
“It was nice, it set us off to a good start and we tried to build on it and we created a few more chances after that and could have taken a few more and scored more goals but it didn't happen for us today on that front but we’re still happy about that and I'm happy with the goal.”
BELIEF
“Not many people were expecting us to come here and do as well as we did but we always had full faith that we knew we could hurt them when we got the ball and we showed that today in spells and like I say hopefully we can take that into the return leg.”
ENTERTAINING FOOTBALL
“It’s always nice to play, our philosophy coming down from the gaffer and everyone above of how we want to play and hopefully it's good to watch and we enjoy playing it and we’ve been picking up some good result recently, another good result today and you can see the hard work is paying off and I obviously enjoy playing it and I’m sure everyone else does.”
MOMENTUM
“With today picking up not a point but the replay, the win last week and we just keep going taking it game by game and see where we end up at the end of the season. Again, rest and recover, start prepping for Millwall and hopefully we can go there and get a result as well.”
