CARDIFF CITY: ONES TO WATCH

The lads from 'Cardiff City Mad', the longest-running Cardiff City website on the internet, have listed five players for Sunderland to keep an eye on this afternoon.

OLLIE TANNER

Blew the South Wales Derby apart last week with a goal a minute or so after coming off the bench. An attacking winger with pace he is a threat. Not always in the game when starting but a danger when he does become involved in the play. His goal against Swansea was followed by winning a penalty which went towards a Man of the Match award from Sky Sports.

AARON RAMSEY

Doesn't really need a description. Still a Premier League quality player. Turned down a fortune to play in Saudi so he could be home to take his kids to school. Being a local boy he can do his family duties while still captaining Wales and confirming his status as a Cardiff City legend.

MARK MCGUINNESS

Just 22 he has become a stalwart of the Cardiff City defence. A proper centre back who put his head where it hurts but can also play out from the back with a turn of pace.

MANOLIS SIOPIS

Love this guy. He is an engine. Greek international who is a pocket sized dynamo with his defensive midfield role that breaks up play and starts new attacks for Cardiff. It's early days in his Cardiff career but he is on his way to becoming a fans favourite.

JAMILU COLLINS

A Rolls Royce of a full back. Made an amazing to start to the 2022/23 season but suffered an injury early on that ruled him out of the rest of the campaign. He needed a couple of games to get him up to speed this season but he is quality and can defend well and play good football.
