BLACKBURN BOSS ON SUNDERLAND DEFEAT

John Dalh Tomasson was not a happy man as he claimed that Blackburn should have made it two wins on the bounce against Sunderland last night.

‘We are very disappointed with the result, when you look at the chances we created, we should have scored three, four goals. Also, the way we created them and the amount of big chances, we should have been out of sight. We played some excellent football and we gave away unnecessary goals. When you are chasing the game, the second half is always more open. The penalty we conceded, it was the first time they were in our 18-yard box. The corner just before half-time. We started well second half, dominant again, created chances again. When you consider those amount of moments, it's crazy we didn't get a result today. You credit the opponent but if you look at how big the chances are, we have to be clinical. You have to create chances, the right type of chances and the ones we created were very big. We can't give away goals like we did but we should have been out of sight after 13 minutes. Credit for creating them but we have to be more clinical."
