BALLARD PRE MILLWALL

Dan Ballard has spoken about today's visit to his former club Millwall, where he spent last season on loan from Arsenal and really impressed...

FULHAM

“It was a great game to watch and the Lads put in a great performance on that pitch. We really played to the best of our abilities which we are going to have to do again next Wednesday if we are to get a result. Personally, I really enjoyed the challenge and loved playing against a Premier League opposition. Especially having the extra allocation of away fans, it’s nice to do it in front of them.”

BACK TO FULL FITNESS

“I’ve been feeling very good. I think it took me a few games to get going again but now I’ve played eight games in a row, I am really starting to feel confident in myself and starting to improve my performances on the pitch. Hopefully now I can be someone that can drive the team forward."

CONFIDENT

“The first couple of games are a bit nerve wracking. You are not sure how well it is going to hold up, how fit you are and whether you are going to struggle with the speed of it. But once you get the first few games out of the way, it’s only gone up from there. I’m now looking forward to each game and I’m feeling as confident as before I was injured.”

MILLWALL

“I really enjoyed my time at Millwall. I was still thankful for the opportunity I got there but my goal now is to pick up all three points."

FAMILIAR FACES

"I am quite familiar with the team and the players so it will be an enjoyable one to go back there and be on the other side in the other changing room trying to win. Hopefully I will be able to help the team out and give them a bit more inside information about how they play and the types of players they have. It can only be a benefit.”
