ALL THINGS SKY BLUE

Ahead of tomorrow's game, we spoke to the lads from All Things Sky Blue to discuss their best players, their season so far and how they think the day will go.

Coventry currently sit 15th, how would you review the season so far and what are your goals for the remainder of the season?

The season so far has been one of frustration with losing two key players, and also bringing in players for good money. I suppose with a high turnover over players it takes time for people to get used to the league and country, as some haven’t played here before. I have always felt we are a top eight side and I feel we have turned a corner with some really good performances of late, so hopefully we can push for that again or maybe a playoff place.

What are your thoughts on manager Mark Robins?

One of the greatest the club have seen, if he gets us back to the premier league then maybe the greatest. With managers being sacked all the time at other clubs,it’s shows our loyalty to his commitment, dedication to us and we can’t thank him enough and his staff as they are a huge asset as well.

How would you review your summer transfer window, and what do you need in January?

Seeing highlight reels of the new players I would have said brilliant, but some have started slow and have taken time to adjust, but as I have said before we have definitely improved as a team and individually, January will be interesting as we haven’t really replaced Gus Hamer, so definitely a midfielder on permanent would be good, then to bolster attack and maybe cover at RB.

Who would you say is your best player?

A few come to mind. It could be Joel Latibeaudiere or Milan Van Ewijk, but Tatsuhiro Sakakamoto at the moment is the standout player and getting better with each game.

Which Sunderland player worries you the most?

Sunderland are a team full of talent all over but Jack Clarke, Patrick Roberts and Jobe Bellingham are the standouts.

How is Ellis Simms getting on?

He started of slow then hit two goals against QPR we though would kick start his season but sadly not, however like said previously his all round game is starting to show especially last week against Leeds he was very good, so I’m sure that will build his confidence and hopefully the goals will come.

What's your score prediction for the game?

You will have a new manager so that will add to the day and atmosphere, but I think we will be the party poopers and take a hard fought 1-0 win back to Coventry.
