So, Josh Maja has rejected SAFC’s new contract offer despite a 700% increase in wages. Maja ‘s agent informed the club of the decision today, despite the player telling Jack Ross on Thursday that he wanted to stay.
Stuart Donald tweeted: "Josh Maja update. Yesterday Josh asked to see Jack to say he will sign. Today I got a call from Sky TV saying he won't sign. Josh advised his agent has said don't sign but no courtesy to tell the club - Also we offered what the agent indicated!!! Busy January ahead."
In other news, our game against Accrington Stanley will be broadcast on Sky Sports and will now take place on Friday 15 February, kicking off at 7.45pm. Supporters are advised however that the game could still be subject to further change should Accrington Stanley progress to Round 5 of the Emirates FA Cup.
