TALBI POST LFC

ree

Chemsdine Talbi is developing a habit of providing crucial goals in these big away games! He spoke about today's goal and said that while he's disappointed we couldn't hold on to the win, a draw is certainly a respectable result at Anfield.

TEAM EFFORT

“I am really happy sith the goal but I think we need to congratulate the team. They did a great job today. We didn’t get the three points but we did a fantastic job to get the 1-1 from it. It is not easy but we showed how strong we are as a team.”

NO FEAR

“Okay, it is Liverpool and they were the champions last year but we have a great team with a great mentality and we can face every team.”

BITTERSWEET

“I think at the end we could have scored with Wilson, but also in the game we had some chances where we could do better. Wilson will score in other games though and it’s not so bad to finish 1-1 here.”

BIG AWAY GOALS

“I am still working, still growing, still learning the Premier League. I am happy with the goal today but I hope I will score more goals.”

SETTLING IN

“I am really happy. That’s why I came to Sunderland, I knew we would do great things and I’m really happy to be part of this team.”

ANFIELD

“I think it is a great stadium to play in but when the game starts, you don’t focus on the atmosphere or the stadium. You play your own football and need to focus on the game.”

ONTO MAN CITY

“It will be a great game against Manchester City. It will not be easy but we will fight and we will get the maximum points we can get there.”

FANS

“I really appreciate it. It gives me more energy and more confidence. I’m happy about it and they showed again today that they are the best fans in the Premier League.”
