Enzo Le Fee praised Sunderland's team spirit after the Lads came from behind to pick up all three points at Everton, singling out the substitutes for their game-changing impact, and explained his Spider-Man celebration.
TEAM EFFORT
“Second one this year at the Hill Dickinson Stadium! We did well because we knew it was going to be a tough game, and it was the case. The reaction we had in the second half was perfect. The guys’ attitude was perfect, including the guys who came on. Riggy, Wilson, Habib and Luke, who came on really early. They were ready to do the job.”
END PRODUCT
"We just said we played well in the first half but the last 30 metres we were a bit quiet. We needed more fire and I think we did well. The guys who came on had a perfect attitude and this is the team, the family we have had since the beginning of the season. We can be proud. The second goal, and even the third, can be the game. The reaction in the second half was perfect but after the first goal we kept going. That’s the most important thing.”
SPIDEY CELEBRATION
“The moment was perfect. If I scored the first goal, I wasn’t sure that I was going to do it. After a big comeback, it was the perfect one in front of our fans. Since I was young I liked Spider-Man, my favourite hero. That’s why and with my little brother so it’s a sign for him. I should’ve done the celebration a long time ago but I didn’t score. A good moment so I was happy to score in front of our fans.”
CHELSEA NEXT
“We had two finals, one left now which will be at home. It’s a good time to win at home for the last game of the season. Good to have Luke [O’Nien] close to me because he told me I was going to score and it happened so I’m very happy. Keep going for the last game.”
EUROPE?
"We want the best for this team always and we did well. We should be in a better position because we had some games we should win as well but it wasn’t the case. We can be proud. We keep working hard as we have all season. One more final to play at home against Chelsea. A good game to finish the season.”
BOUNCING BACK
“Nobody likes defeat. Our strength is to be together in the good moments and the bad ones as well. What we did all season is always react in a good way and we did it after the first half today. We can be proud of us. At the beginning of the season we said we have to be a family and a team.”
A WORD FOR THE FANS
"Unbelievable. Even in the cup was unbelievable. We are proud of them, they give us a lot and we try to do the same on the pitch. It’s a good relationship.”
