Former Sunderland player and France international Louis Saha has given his thoughts on Sunderland's season and spoke about what the summer plan should be. Saha was speaking to BetVictor.
STABILITY IS NEEDED
"I think that's the challenge for Sunderland after a big season, keeping hold of players like Dan Ballard. They need to remain very calm and avoid making the same mistakes a club like Fulham or Everton have made, where they try to change everything because they're hearing an agent or a player wants something. No, they have to remain calm and try to stabilise the club because they've been there before. They should not make the same mistakes."
CRUCIAL SUMMER TO KICK ON
"This summer can be a very important step because the club is not just here to have one good season. They want to establish themselves as a top club in England and compete with Newcastle for many years."
