ROBERTS EYEING UP PL CHALLENGE

Upon his return to the Premier League next season, Patrick Roberts has touched on how he and all the other lads are looking forward to the big challenge next season. They all know how hard it will be, but they're all right up for it and ready to give their all. He also gave praise to Regis Le Bris, as well as other staff such as Mike Dodds, Tony Mowbray and Michael Proctor.

PREMIER LEAGUE CHALLENGE

"Everyone knows it's going to be tough, it's a different beast these days. But we're a big club and everyone can see that with the fans. We’ll have a right go. We wanted to get out of this Championship and we did that, so anything is possible."

RLB AND OTHER STAFF

"He's very reserved, you probably don't get a lot of him. But he's very calm and he's been brilliant from the day that he's come. I can't say enough about the man. He's been great. He's made me enjoy football again, as did Tony Mowbray. And shout out to Doddsy [Mike Dodds] and Proc [Michael Proctor] as well. They've been fantastic with me the whole way through. There's a lot of people to thank. It's been a real team effort and well deserved.

RESILIENCE ALL SEASON

"We said at the start, the manager asked us what we want to get out this season and it was promotion - whatever way. We had to grind throughout the season and lost five on the bounce and we turned it around with the win at Coventry and then showed the resilience to get over the line. It's been the story of our season. When it matters, we've turned up and it's great to play with a top group of lads that are young and a lot are going to do great things."

LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT SEASON

"My mum is looking forward to Everton. She said she can't wait especially with the new ground and stuff obviously. My dad's obviously a Liverpool fan. I've been to most of the grounds I think but I'm just looking forward to being with this club up there. Going from League One, Championship and then Premier League - it's been a joy and I can't tell you how proud I am."
