RLB ON NEIL/ISIDOR

Regis Le Bris has praised Wilson Isidor for bouncing back after his penalty trauma at Burnley, but has also explained the decision to use Dan Neil as a more advanced midfielder against Plymouth. Le Bris admits it might take some time for Neil to adjust, having played as the deepest midfielder for the whole season. Is now really the time to be experimenting with a formula that has worked well so far?

WILSON KEPT GRAFTING

“It shows that when you are consistent, you will be involved. It is a good example for the team. Wilson is always at 100 per cent, he wants to score but he wants to defend even when he struggles. He doesn't search for excuses, he takes responsibility.”

NEIL FURTHER FORWARD

“It has been Dan’s main position in the past. Although he will probably need a little bit more time to connect with this triangle on the right side."

LONGER TERM

“It’s not just about this game though. We were disappointed, but we have to build our strength for the last rounds of the season. The experience will be useful for us at the end of the season."

STRENGTH IN DEPTH

“We have two (more) players who can help the team, Enzo and Salis. Jobe also played higher up the pitch, so we are creating other options to deal with all the different scenarios we will face. If we have more options available, we are going to be stronger as a team.”
