Chris Rigg was happy to score his first Premier League goal, and what a goal it was, but was disappointed that it wasn't enough to earn a good result on the road.
TOUGH CHALLENGE WAS EXPECTED
"I think it was a tough game coming here and we knew that, we prepped for that. Unfortunate not to come out with something at the end of the game.”
DREAM GOAL
“I’m really proud to get my first Premier League goal. It’s something you dream of and I was just trying my best to help the team. Like I said, unfortunate not to pick up something from it.”
DRESSING ROOM REACTION
“Gutted to be honest because we know we had the game there for us, whether that was a point or three. It is a gutting feeling but we’ll bounce back stronger.”
THE RUN-IN
“There are five big games left to go and we’ll do everything for the fans to get something out of them.”
FANS
“They really pushed us through the game, especially later on when we got our two goals. All praise to them, hopefully we can show them something and show that we’re able to get points against these big teams in these big stadiums."
