PLAYER RATINGS: FULHAM

Sunderland were defeated for the third league game in a row by Fulham at the Stadium of Light. A brace from Raul Jimenez and a goal from Alex Iwobi ensured the away team took all three points, with a consolation goal from Enzo Le Fee meaning little in the end.

ROBIN ROEFS: 6/10

Not his fault we conceded three but wasn’t too busy beyond picking the ball out of the back of the net.

NORDI MUKIELE: 6/10

Didn’t do much because he was forced off very early on so I’ve just gone for a six.

DAN BALLARD: 7/10

Did well on a difficult afternoon, made a good block right before their goal and was one of a few of our players who coped with their physicality somewhat. Also won the penalty with a nice run into the box too.

OMAR ALDERETE: 5/10

Passing was dodgy in the first half and he just seemed far too casual throughout.

TRAI HUME: 6.5/10

Looked okay going forward and he had a few good moments defensively, should have tried to impose himself more though.

NOAH SADIKI: 6.5/10

At least he had a shot on target. He didn’t do anything spectacular but there’s not many gripes you can have with him today beyond the criticisms that can be levied at the team as a whole.

JOCELIN TA BI: 6/10

He’s still bedding in, so I’ve taken that into account, but he looked bright. I’m sure the defects in his game will be ironed out as he gets more game time at this level (hopefully his injury is nothing serious). Crossing needs some work.

HABIB DIARRA: 5.5/10

An unassuming game from him today and his passing was far from adequate.

ENZO LE FEE: 7/10

Scored the penalty and at least had a go. He was pushed off the ball a bit weakly a few times though.

NILSON ANGULO: 5/10

It feels harsh because he was eager, and he was trying, but the end product just wasn’t there. He missed a really good chance in the second half as well.

BRIAN BROBBEY: 4.5/10

Struggled most of the game and gave a penalty away with a foul that just wasn’t necessary.

SUBS:

LUTSHAREL GEERTRUIDA: 6/10

Defensively fine but flopped when we attacked, he just didn't have the pace to get onto passes directed his way.

ROMAINE MUNDLE: 4/10

Had one of those moments where he missed when it was probably easier to score. Couldn’t hold onto the ball to save his life either.

ELIEZER MAYENDA: 5.5/10

Found it difficult to get a hold of the ball and ran around like a headless chicken at times.

WILSON ISIDOR: 5.5/10

Fired one over from close range, you have to get that at least on target. Quiet other than that.

GRANIT XHAKA: 7/10

Every bit of quality we had after he came on came from or through him. Glad to have him back.
