Enzo Le Fee shared his thoughts after scoring a wondergoal in Sunderland's 4-2 loss against Liverpool.

TOUGH CONDITIONS WILL HELP US

“It was tough because it was really hot, but I think it was really important to play in this temperature because after we come back, it’ll be easier. I think we did well with a really good first half, and even in the second half I think the young players did some good things as well and scored a really good goal. We’ll keep going in our pre-season stage.”

GOOD GOAL

“It’s always nice. I don’t usually score a lot of goals and this season I want to score more. That starts from the first game. It was a good goal as well, so it’s always nice!”

PLAYING IN MIDFIELD

“I think since maybe the end of last season I’ve been playing in the same position, so I think it’s easier for me. It helps me a lot to always be in the same position and I like to be in the middle of the pitch. I like to have the ball and control the tempo, and I want to be one of the best players in this position. I have to work more than I already do, but that is the process.”

WORLD CUP PLAYERS RETURNING

“I hope they will be fit as well because it is really tough. It’s always a pleasure for us to be together. We have to build again the family that we were last year, we are waiting for them.”

USA TOUR GOING WELL

“Really nice. The hotel is nice and the training camp as well. We are in really good condition so I think we just have to work, like we have done since we arrived here. It’s always nice to go somewhere else in the world and we can find our fans as well. I think it was really important for Shad (Forsythe) because we are in his country. I think it’s a good one.”
