Enzo Le Fee was disappointed that we didn't come away from Brentford with all three points but was proud of the team's reaction and spoke about how all week he had been waiting to take (and score) a penalty.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

“I think we’re a bit disappointed because the first half was one of our best and we should have scored a lot, maybe two or three goals. But we can be proud of our reaction after we conceded because we didn’t give up. We just said we have to believe and that was the case. Even after our goal, we continued to keep going because we wanted to win the game. Finally, we didn’t win it but we can be proud.”

FIRST HALF FLURRY

“We knew already that it would be a tough game and we’d have to fight. We did it well. Of course, this place is a little bit like us when we play at home, it’s really tough to win points. But I think the first half showed our ambition. We were here to win. It wasn’t the case today but, like I said, we can be proud because we fought really well.”

PEN PRESSURE

“To be honest I was ready all week and I was thinking about it. It was a bad memory but I think it shows my character as well. I really wanted to have a penalty today because now I can leave it behind me. I was just ready to get one and score. It was a similar scenario to the game last year, a bit later on in the game, but I like this pressure. We play football to feel this type of pressure. It was a good answer.”

START TO THE SEASON

“I think we wanted more to be honest. In the first game I think we lost the three points because of ourselves. The second game we won, the first at home. And today we should win if you look at the first half. But it’s like this and I think all the team are ready to play every game and every type of game. I think this is maybe the toughest place to play in the Premier League and I think we did well.”
