UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT
“I think first of all I’m a bit frustrated with the result, of course. But on a personal level I’m extremely delighted, it’s a dream come true. You look back at these things and you’ll never forget them so it’s one hell of a memory. It’s what I wanted, from the moment I came here. To make my Prem debut, and to even progress from League One to the Championship to here with this team and this club, is phenomenal.”
WHOLE CLUB EFFORT
“Credit to this team. Every single year we’ve worked so hard and I think that comes down from the very top to the bottom. We’re just putting the performance out but it’s like an iceberg, there’s so much to it. It’s been incredible and I think the results are showing that.”
RETURN TO FITNESS
“It was tough because obviously I played on during last season and then had a few setbacks with the injury at the start of this season. Ultimately, I am back now and I’m getting the fitness back slowly. We’ll get there - we’ll get back to consistency.”
DISAPPOINTED WITH DRAW
“The overall vibe is that we’re a little bit disappointed and frustrated. We could have given more, I think, but I still have to give credit to the boys because every single game I’ve watched this season, they’ve given 110%. So, we’ll take a point going into the New Year and just come out firing.”
LEARNING CURVE
“Obviously there’s been some changes in structure and formations and stuff within the team, so we’re still adapting and learning. I think we’ll just go from there. I think this is just the start. I’m not trying to get too over the moon with making my debut because I’m expecting a lot more from myself.”
