BROBBEY POST THFC

ree

Brian Brobbey was happy to score on Sunday to salvage a point for Sunderland against Tottenham Hotspur, who failed to capitalise on their early dominance.

WELL WORKED GOAL

“I think it started with Nordi who played the ball to me and then I saw Enzo. He played the ball back to me, I think it was a good first touch and a great finish!”

LEFT FOOTED FINISH

“It was my weak foot, that’s correct… but it’s also good.”

INSTINCTIVE

“Sometimes you don’t need to think, you just need to shoot. That’s what I did, and it went in.”

DESERVE THE POINT

“For the second half it was fully deserved. I think in the first half we didn’t play with intensity but we changed it.”

TOGETHERNESS

“We are doing really good. We are sticking together and also sticking with the boys who are at the African Cup of Nations. We are all trying to do our best.”

GLAD TO SCORE

“As a striker, of course you want to score and it gives you a boost in confidence. I just need to keep going. I was really happy. I want to score in every game.”

FANS

“They are always really good when we are playing home games but away also. You always hear them.”
