RLB DROPS ENZO HINT

In his pre-Stoke presser, Regis Le Bris was asked about the potential signing of Enzo Le Fee. While our Head Coach was keen to keep his cards close to his chest with this one, he did explain how the midfielder would fit into Sunderland's preferred system!

SAME SYSTEM HERE AS LORIENT

"It's not done, so there is nothing I can say about it right now. About this window, I can say that we have spoken a lot about opportunities that we can have and the targets that we have. We want a player who knows the system, who knows the game model. This is the same that we used to play at Lorient."

POSITIONAL PLAY

"We want players who are connected to our specific identity and this player could suit this but I repeat, it is not done. Enzo can play as a ten, an eight, even as a six. Sometimes in a 4-4-2. We'll see, it is a market with many opportunities."

INJURY LATEST

"Salis and Riggy will be available for this fixture. For Dan Ballard it will be too soon, maybe one week more. Ahmed [Abdullahi] could be available but we will see. It was a long injury. But he could be.”

JANUARY EXITS

"It’s a possibility some players could leave. At the end of this transfer window we have to find the right balance. Between, on one side, the team and the depth of the squad for the games and also for the training sessions as well. “Because it’s very important to train properly. They are very important for that and for their own pathway as well. It’s about balance but we will see at the end [of January].”
