PLAYER RATINGS V AFCB

Sunderland lost their fourth Premier League game in a row yesterday, at the hands of Bournemouth. An early goal from Marcus Tavernier and a red card for Kevin Danso set the tone for the afternoon, before Evanilson finished any chance of a draw off a few minutes into the second half.
ROBIN ROEFS: 7/10
Not at fault for either goal and made a few good saves. One or two nervy moments but he’s one of a few who can’t be ashamed about his display.
NORDI MUKIELE: 7/10
Carried on after picking up a knock and made a few key interventions. Like Roefs, had his worrying bits but was mostly good.
KEVIN DANSO: 1/10
A large factor in the first goal and got himself sent off under poor circumstances.
OMAR ALDERETE: 1/10
Played a role in both goals, especially the second with an awful pass back to Roefs.
REINILDO: 4/10
Didn’t cover himself in any glory particularly but was nowhere near as bad as some.
GRANIT XHAKA: 3.5/10
Lethargic and didn’t seem to have his head in it.
NOAH SADIKI: 4/10
Some of his midfield work was at least passable but very poor going forward.
TRAI HUME: 4/10
Defensively, alright. On the wing, awful.
CHRIS RIGG: 4.5/10
Had a few bright moments but was clearly forced into doing too much and couldn’t cope.
ENZO LE FEE: 4.5/10
Similar to Rigg really, didn’t have anyone to provide stuff to reliably.
TIMUR TUTIEROV: 3/10
Feels cruel but he was clearly out of his depth and is nothing like a lone striker. Hopefully he doesn’t think about this one too much.
SUBS:
LUKE O’NIEN: 6.5/10
He was far better than either of the other centre backs.
HABIB DIARRA: 6.5/10
Almost set up a goal but no one could get to his ball.
JULES AHOKA: 6.5/10
Looked bright, worth a start on Thursday.
THE MANAGER: 2/10
Team selection and setup awful, even before going down to 10. Substitutes were the correct ones to make but we needed a couple of others to come on.
