Stuart Pearce is the latest pundit to tip Sunderland for relegation. Speaking to Jamie Carragher on the Overlap, via Sky Bet, Pearce also spoke about the lengthy international break...

INTERNATIONAL BREAK

"I prefer international football to club football. International football is the best thing that ever happened to me. Playing international football with England and the four games and obviously managing at under-21 level with the international team, I always think it's fantastic. I can understand potentially a seven-week window for the World Cup and then five games and then a break and whatever, but you know what? I love international football.”

RELEGATION BATTLE

“[On the relegation battle] Ipswich and Coventry, definitely. I tipped Sunderland to go at the start of the season, so I’m going to stick with it.”
