JONES TO FEATURE MORE

Harrison Jones is now a firm part of the senior squad, participating in senior training sessions and travelling to league games as part of the matchday squad. He has recently been brought on towards the end of some games, and Regis Le Bris says we can expect him to feature more as he is the next talented youngster to come out of the academy.

GOOD QUALITY

“He (Jones) showed good qualities during the training sessions. He is a nice boy, really well-connected with everybody, and is a hard worker too. He has a willingness to improve every day, so I think he deserved that opportunity."

MORE MINUTES IN THE FUTURE

“He has shown on a number of occasions that he is part of the group and ready to play. I think he can get more minutes moving forward, it is possible.”

NO REPEAT OF HULL PERFORMANCE

“It’s very important that doesn’t happen again. I don’t think it was because of an over-confidence – we had other games before where we were on the limit and it was possible to lose at home."

CONSISTENCY IS KEY

“It just means we have to be consistent every time. This league is special – we can’t dominate anyone just because we are there on the pitch with them. We have to work hard, be consistent and also be clinical when opportunities come our way.”
