PREDICTED 11 VS PETERBOROUGH

Off the back of a comfortable win at Oxford, the lads welcome another potential promotion rival to the Stadium of Light in Peterborough.

GK: Lee Burge. Pretty untested against Oxford and another start should help rebuild his confidence.

RWB: Luke O’Nien. Topped off a good performance with a goal last weekend.

CB: Jordan Willis. Willis’ pace and athleticism is always an asset in this league and surely makes him one of Parkinson’s first names on the team sheet.

CB: Bailey Wright. Following news of Morgan Feeney’s injury, Wright has more breathing room; particularly after a good game at Oxford.

CB: Tom Flanagan. Coming off the back of a solid clean sheet, there’s no way Xhemajli gets brought into the fray.

LWB: Denver Hume. Looks good offensively but also seems to have improved defensively recently, which will be vital against a talented Peterborough forward line.

CM: Max Power. Despite a minor hamstring problem, it is hoped that Power will feature in this game.

CM: Grant Leadbitter. Grant came back into the team with a really impressive 90 minutes

last weekend and is potentially seeing a new lease of life at the age of 34.

LW: Lynden Gooch. The two strikers up top clearly isn’t working, so Parkinson could be tempted to revert to the system we used last season with wingers. Gooch adds a different dimension and is a huge threat at this level.

RW: Chris Maguire. We’ve seen this season that Maguire is so much better out wide, so this change in system could get the best out of him once again.

ST: Danny Graham. Seems to lead the line well in the few minutes we’ve seen of him, and a striker of his ilk could bring the wingers into it by being unselfish.

My Score Prediction: 3-1 to the lads!
