MOWBRAY WANTS PRITCH?
Reports over the weekend have claimed that Sunderland have rejected a bid from Tony Mowbray's Birmingham City for midfielder Alex Pritchard. The midfielder, who was linked with a move away in the summer although nothing materialised, is in the final six months of his Sunderland contract and there is no indication his deal will be renewed. After proving his value this season and becoming an important member of this Sunderland side, fans have been calling for Pritchard to be tied down beyond this summer - and should the influential midfielder leave this transfer window, it will be a decision that draws even more criticism from an already disillusioned fanbase.
