ATTITUDE
“Ross showed the aggression last weekend that we wanted from him and got his reward. We have a few players who have worked hard for their opportunity. It shows the attitude of players but also the intensity of training that they can come in and don’t look out of sorts. Chris Maguire showed great attitude last week, Jack [Diamond] is another example who came in with a very athletic performance. Where we’ve had such a quick turnaround, this is a nice spell where we can take stock and make some good decisions based on getting those boys at their absolute peaks.”

“I made a declaration to myself, knowing the precarious nature of Head Coach and managerial roles, to enjoy it. I’ve really enjoyed it so far, and I’ve found the time to enjoy the people, club, players, fanbase, history and area. I think that’s really important. Sometimes the margins between success and failure can be so fractional that a Head Coach or manager perhaps can’t influence them. A shot going either side of the post, for example. But I’m certainly embracing and enjoying it, without any fear, because the aim is always to prepare to win the next game.”
