GK: Jon McLaughlin: Surviving a daft back pass blunder, McLaughlin kept his fifth clean sheet in the last six games at the weekend.
CB: Jordan Willis: Willis is the most well-rounded centre back in our squad, and possibly in the league. He’s contributed hugely to our recent defensive success and even manages to get forward.
CB: Bailey Wright: It would be unfair on him to bring Ozturk back in straight after Wright’s best game in red and white. The experienced Aussie looks sharp and match fit now, and his reading of the game will prove crucial in the race for promotion.
CB: Tom Flanagan: Flanagan was impressive throughout against Ipswich and made a match-winning tackle on Kayden Jackson. He’ll be hoping to build on the performance and keep Lynch and Ozturk out of the team.
RWB: Luke O’Nien: Who else? Luke’s played an incredible number of minutes this season but as our only option on the right, he won’t be taking a break unless it’s due to injury, or suspension.
LWB: Denver Hume: Like O’Nien, Hume has played a lot this season but with Declan John coming in, he’ll have to maintain his good performances and prove his worth.
CM: Max Power: With Leadbitter taking time away from the club, Power will be expecting to play again on Tuesday and dictate play.
CM: Josh Scowen: George Dobson needs a break. The poor lad’s only 22 and he’s being ran into the ground by Phil Parkinson. This is a good chance to introduce Scowen to the starting eleven in a game where we’ll dominate against lesser opposition.
RW: Lynden Gooch: Gooch adds a sense of unpredictability to the wing, and almost added to his collection of brilliant goals on Saturday.
LW: Chris Maguire: The King hasn’t been consistent over 90 minutes recently, but you have to play him for those moments of quality such as the winner against Ipswich. He usually creates chances with an impressive set piece delivery too.
CF: Kyle Lafferty: The Irishman is always a handful for defenders and this could do Charlie Wyke good, who’s confidence may be low after missing an absolute sitter at the weekend.
